1. TOTAL SALVATION FOR ALL AFTER DEATH
2. TOTAL REDUCTION OF POVERTY BEFORE DEATH
AGENDA FOR 2002:
The United Church of Christ in Zimbabwe is a life giving people’s Church which believes in the Priesthood of all Believers and Consensus of all members in reaching decisions that guide the operations of the Church. The Church believes in fearing God, Capability, Participatory Democracy, reaching decisions by Consensus, Good Governance, Transparency, Accountability, Ability, Trustworthiness, Honesty.
None but ourselves are going to make the UCCZ great and what it will be in the future. The UCCZ members must take God’s promise seriously which is found in
Joshua 1: 5 – 9.
What we need as a community of UCCZ Priesthood of Believers is to have confidence and determination and above all to obey the whole Bible inspired by God, then we shall be prosperous and successful as a people of God.
From the above analysis, it is clear that UCCZ members must be informed in order for them to participate democratically, intelligently and meaningfully with genuine concern for Building the Church of God.
This Agenda for 2002 is intended to inform the members formally and informally with a
sole goal of helping members to understand their Church in order for them to participate wisely in serving their Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ from an informed point of view.
This is just a PLAN. Its success will depend on our sincerity and genuineness in committing the PLAN to God. (Proverbs 16: “Ask the LORD to bless your PLANS, and you will be successful in carrying them out: (GNB).

Our genuine plea to all UCCZ members is to ask them to pray fervently, passionately and unceasingly for God’s divine intervention in our PLANS so that they can be successful.
